Maybe we got unlucky with room allocation but our room was very outdated. Felt like it hadn’t been updated since the 1950’s. Clean, but super old. The hotel itself, while certainly historic, could use some refurbishment.
The parking/concierge staff were super friendly and overall fantastic, but the front desk were a little cold and stand offish.
Overall, if you want to be in the middle of the action in Perugia, this is one of your better options. But sadly for what you’re paying, it’s just not worth while.
My husband and I returned last week from an amazing trip to Italy. The Sina Brufani Hotel was one of the places we stayed for two nights. What a beautiful hotel and in such a great location. Our room was very spacious and gave us plenty of room to stretch out and relax. Barbara was wonderful in getting us checked in upon our arrival. The next day I was having some issues with the Wii FI. Valeria was great in trying to fix the problem, but needed to contact the Tech people. Great service and the problem was solved. We spent the two afternoons on the outside patio for Happy Hour. So relaxing with a beautiful view. We loved wandering around town and the beautiful city of Perugia.
This place is absolutely beautiful and dripping with history. The room was huge and had the most beautiful views, right next to everything you’d want. The bar has amazing cocktails and dinner at the hotel was some of the best service I’ve ever had. As well the food matches the service. Very happy with this stay
Rooms are nice and clean! It’s very pretty. The staff is kind.
The breakfast is the best ever! I loved the coffee and croissants!!!!
If staying in certain areas the service elevator is all that’s working. It’s a nightmare! It’s small and slow. Ask to be in rooms not requiring that elevator.
There’s a bar in the lobby. They need more staff working that area. It took 40 minutes for someone to come to our table to take a drink order.
The hotel is rough around the edges. Would take some Euros/ upgrades to make it truly 5 Star. …
First rate service and guest rooms. Breakfast is a delicious buffet. The bar is fantastic. Dinner at Collins ( in house) is very good. Be sure to visit the indoor pool at 4 levels below ground. Very very nice pool!
A historical hotel in a great location in the heart of Perugia with fantastic views. Unfortunately the hotel is not being maintained well and some of the historical charm is looking a little tired. Elevators not working, beds need replacing and some of the furniture needs some upkeep. Nice to visit once but wouldn’t return.
Fantastic hotel, very very nice and professional staff from reception to cleaning .. super place and in the middle of the town. 1 min walk from centrum
